Can u reuse my flat rate usps box to send something bak that is postage paid?

I need to send a school book back to the company and i have a label printed out to use so i dont hva eto pay postage, but the only box i have at home , i dont want to buy a box, is a flat rate box, can i use this box and just put my label on it without having to pay anything? thanks
